The year 2020 came to a standstill at the start of the new year after being attacked by the Covid -19 virus. Industries, shops, transport business as well as fitness activities were suspended. The suspension of the entire life routine meant that all people across the globe for the first time in history were to stay indoors lest there were prone to the deadly virus which claimed millions of lives. It should also be emphasized that physical activities have awesome benefits to those who engage in them such as; reducing blood pressure, weight management, reducing the risk of heart diseases, reducing the risk of diabetes, reducing the risk of stroke, reducing the risks of cancerous diseases in the body, reducing the risk of cognitive decline, reducing the risk of diseases in later life, improving bone and muscle strength, improving mental health, flexibility, fitness as well as the overall feeling of the general well being. Above all physical activities, support healthy growth and development.

Fitness activities have now emerged as the key to promote and preserve good health, especially during this post-pandemic period.

Fitness activities are and will remain the only doorstep to health preservation as well as healthy living. It is important that people engage in healthy exercises so as to be able to attain the benefits of physical activity and strength and balance training. Above all, a body that engages in fitness activities attains a healthy mind.
